Inaugural, impressive, plush.
There were 175 cases of this estate produced Cabernet Sauvignon, a first ever for Noble Ridge. It was de-stemmed and crushed, then cold soaked for 3 days and aged 24 months in French and American barrels, 75% French, 25% American. Of that 80% was new oak.
Expect plush aromas of chocolate covered cherries and cassis atop brown spices, green bell peppers, toasted oak and tobacco. It has very good concentration, a supple weight and textural grip on the palate. Overall, it has notable balance, is definitely savoury and has impressive length. Classic and complete.
